Timed Feedings

Automated feeders have their place, but be sure you need one for the right reasons.

See the iFEED Horse Feeder reviewed in the Horse-Journal.

The feeders have allowed us to feed the horses in A NATURAL way, all through the night, and on an hourly basis. The horses are definitely calmer and more relaxed to handle and ride. THEY ARE SATISFIED. They have regular small feeds over a 24 hour period.

It has reduced time in preparing and allocating feeds per horse and saved us an hour in the mornings as horses can be worked at 8am instead of fed at 8am.

"The extra hour in bed is great too!"

We like the feeders very much. We no longer have to be in the stable to feed the horses three times a day. The iFEED feeders now automatically feed the horses six times a day which is better for the horses. We no longer have any cases of colic.

The iFEED feeders make our horses eat slower which is better for the horses. Before we had the feeders, some of our horses got colic. Now, with these feeders, we have had no cases of colic.

The feeders have been going constantly for 9 months and 3 weeks now
and they are the only thing that makes it possible for my horse to live at
home. The feeders are worth their weight in gold. I couldn't imagine life
without them at this point!

I am certain that the feeders benefit my horses by preventing them from gorging their feed and making them eat at a slower pace. The fact that they also save me money with horses that have a tendency to scatter their feed has convinced me that these feeders are a great benefit for horse owners.
